About
Ava's passion for performance was kindled at a young age, from staging “very serious” interpretive dance pieces at family gatherings to performing her illustrious "sad ABCs" — a tearful rendition of the alphabet song. Her early years were also marked by a decade of competitive gymnastics, a discipline that only deepened her love for performance. The day after she hung up her leotard, she was cast as the lead in her middle school musical, igniting a love for acting that grows stronger with every role.
Whether portraying Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, a seductive, dancing cult member, or a corrupt YouTube influencer, Ava’s repertoire spans an array of roles and genres. She strives to uncover the raw, unfiltered truth of the human experience through her characters and is driven by a deep desire to inspire others to conquer self-doubt and pursue their passions. As a background actor in popular movies and TV series on HBO, FX, Netflix, and more, she has had the chance to collaborate with renowned industry figures such as Jennifer Lynch, Jason Bateman, Jude Law, Oscar Boyson, Jaeden Martell, and Josh Andrés Rivera.
Ava is a soprano in NYU’s premier acapella group, The Cleftomaniacs, a group that has garnered multiple accolades over the years. In 2024, they secured second place at the ICCA quarterfinals, advancing to the Northeast Semifinals and winning the Best Choreography award for the second consecutive year. Ava also sings with two rock bands, covering artists ranging from Led Zeppelin to Etta James, and performs in an acoustic duo (The Ravens) at restaurants, private parties, and public events.
Beyond the arts, Ava is a passionate foodie, an aspiring chef, and a published journal author. You might also find her ushering at the NYU Steinhardt School of Music!
